Technology Reflections, Inc. is a software and hosting company based in Leonardtown, Maryland. Since 2003 we have designed, built, and operated cloud applications for organizations that need their information to be accurate, available, and easy to manage - without hiring an IT department to do it.
We are best known for Firehouse Solutions, our web design and data management service for the emergency services community. Every line of that platform was written by our team, and it now powers hundreds of public websites, members-only portals, and station display boards nationwide.

We write the application code, administer the databases, run the mail servers, and manage the cloud. When something needs to change, we change it - no vendor tickets, no waiting.
Practical over flashy
Our users are volunteers, administrators, and officers with a job to do. Features earn their place by saving time, not by winning design awards.
Support is part of the product
The people answering the phone are the people who built the software. Requests are reviewed carefully and completed in a timely manner, and you are told if more time is needed.
Security by default
SSL on every site, two-factor authentication, IP lockdown, rate-limited APIs, and continuous defenses against injection, denial-of-service, and malware.
Keep improving
One shared codebase means every client receives every improvement. Dark mode, AI-assisted writing, video galleries, and a public API all arrived as platform-wide updates.
Community roots
Several members of our team are active volunteers in St. Mary's County fire and rescue. We build tools we rely on ourselves.
Engineered for uptime
Our platform runs as a network of load-balanced web servers, MySQL database servers, and SmarterMail enterprise email servers, deployed as virtual machines in Microsoft Azure Cloud. The full stack is mirrored in two regions, East US and West US, kept in sync so either region can carry the load, with nightly backups in each.
